The Cathedral is the seat of the Bishop of Guyana and serves the Diocese of Guyana in its 42 parishes spanning the coast lands and interior of Guyana. The Cathedral is also a parish church with a medium to large and active congregation. The Cathedral is situated in the heart of Georgetown. It can be seen from most parts of the city especially along North road, King Street and Carmichael Street. Car and bus parking is available on the north side of the Cathedral.
