Aiming at further diversifying its transportation entity in February 2003 The
Correia Group incorporated a new company – Intraserv Inc., which offers
thrice-weekly services from Georgetown to Lethem with a fleet of four (4)
44-seater Mercedes Benz buses. This move is seen as being a catalyst for
promoting trade between Georgetown and (the border with) Brazil and for the development of commerce in the Rupununi region.
In 2006, Intraserv has a fleet of 5 buses, and now runs 7 days a week in the dry season and 3-5 trips per week in the rainy season
